Meet our March of the Living Representatives

Andrew Chris and his wife Sarah are proud Temple Sinai members.Andrew is a family lawyer at Epstein Cole LLP, and he is very much looking forward to utilizing his time off to experience the March of the Living, a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Andrew has enjoyed hearing his wife and siblings recount their meaningful experiences as participants on the March of the Living, and Andrew is very thankful for the chance to attend the upcoming young adult trip. He also looks forward to sharing his experience with others upon his return.

Leah Krangle has been a Temple Sinai member since birth. For many years she lived abroad, but her family always maintained a close connection to Temple. She recently returned to Toronto and is very honoured to participate in this year’s March of the Living.

Like many who are too young to remember the horrors of the Holocaust, Leah is grateful to have the opportunity to explore the Polish villages that were once vibrant centres of Jewish life and reflect while visiting the concentration camps where millions of Jews were killed. She believes that anti-Semitism and racism will never fully disappear, but through education and understanding we can help to ensure that the Holocaust never happens again.

Josh Rosenblum is a third-generation member of Temple Sinai. Since receiving Confirmation, he has maintained a strong connection with our synagogue – as an assistant Sunday school teacher, and more recently participating as a guest speaker for at our Young Adult afternoon services on Yom Kippur. During his undergraduate and graduate studies, Josh was a student leader in the Betar youth movement at the University of Toronto and McGill, advocating for Israel’s right to exist. By participating in the Young Adult March of the Living, he hopes to hear firsthand accounts of the Holocaust that must be shared with the next generation.
